“Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders Today”
This program is designed to equip our youth with public speaking and leadership skills to boost confidence, improve communication, and prepare them for academic, professional, and social success.
Through interactive workshops, practical exercises, and personalized feedback, participants learn to articulate ideas effectively, overcome stage fright and communicate effectively in different settings.
Why train in Public Speaking and Leadership?
Because communication contributes to the successful development of numerous other life skills, it is a foundational life skill critical for personal, social and professional life. For instance, numerous surveys indicate that of all the skills employers desire in employees, oral communication skills rank highest, even more important than writing and other job-related qualities. The premise of the program therefore is that effective communication and leadership skills are skills for any stage and role in life.
However, these skills are taught too late in life, and in most cases never at all – at least formally (and there is plenty of evidence of that in the public domain). In-building these skills at the earliest stage prepares our youth for a smooth transition into the next stages of life; better equipped whether for the job market or self-employment, with added confidence, self-esteem and a positive attitude. This program therefore addresses a critical gap in soft skills education for youth transitioning to adulthood. By investing in their communication abilities, we empower them to advocate for themselves, lead with clarity, and thrive in competitive environments.
